About Compressor Maintenance Co.

Design. Build. Maintain.

Our founder, Ed Rapp, had been a Gardner Denver factory technician until they closed the Maryland location in the early 1980’s. He did such good work and was so reliable, all of the customers he serviced continued to call him for their maintenance and repairs after hours and on weekends to work around his schedule with a full time job. In 1985, he decided to start Compressor Maintenance Co. (CMC) out of the basement of his home. He continued to build the business providing the best 24/7 service on all makes of compressors and related accessories, adding the sale of new and used units as well as full system designs and installations. His top priority was keeping the customers up and running to minimize down time and/or loss of revenue for them day and night, weekend or holiday. Compressor Maintenance Co. continued to grow as word spread of their quality work. They have moved three times into bigger buildings to accommodate the growth. CMC is now a full turn key operation from beginning to end, continuing to grow and expand daily and continuing Ed’s motto of always take care of the customer.
